super clean room superb breakfast convenient location
the room was spotlessly clean. the breakfast was superb for the price (i especially liked the toast and tea). the location is convenient for walking to the harbor.

decent stay, some issues
small bathroom constant humming
The room was quite small, and it felt cramped. the bathroom was particularly tiny. I barely had space to turn around. also, the noise at night was bothersome. I heard a constant humming sound i think came from some equipment outside. it made it difficult to fall asleep.

The staff were lovely. They provided great service. i enjoyed the delicious, home-cooked cottage pie and amazing chips. the portion size was generous. and the atmosphere was very friendly, i must say.

Wonderful Stay with Amazing Food!
generous portion great food bar area
This place had everything I needed, especially great food in the bar area. The portions were very generous (I ate there every day!). Navigating stairs with bags wasn't too bad. It's just part of the adventure, I think.
Wallpaper in the room looked worn. It could use an update, I think.

The room was quite clean, I think. It had everything I needed, including a comfy bed and a heater that worked well (which was great!).

The pub was always busy with diners, I noticed. Portions are generous, everything is homemade, and the service was quick. I was served quickly with really good portions this week.

The hotel has easy access. Generally good parking is available too. I liked that it is at the top end of town. Pavillion and eateries and food were nearby, I noticed.

The location was very convenient for getting around. I found parking close. There was a parking permit available for nearby zones if you could find a space. The harbour and beach were a short walk away.
The room I stayed in was quite small. The bathroom was also very small. The shower was especially small and difficult to maneuver in.
